Connect Care Foundation

Connect Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving seniors’ access to essential resources, technology, and community support. After beginning with a focus on social isolation, our mission has expanded to empower both senior-center residents and independent-living seniors with the tools needed to stay informed, connected, and independent. Many older adults struggle with limited technology access, transportation barriers, and unfamiliarity with modern systems. Connect Care provides practical resources, education, and volunteer-driven outreach to strengthen seniors’ confidence and overall well-being.

About US

Connect Care Foundation was founded by a passionate team of high school students who recognized that many seniors lacked access to essential resources, technology, and community support. Our mission began as Project CONNECT, a student-led initiative addressing social isolation in senior centers. What started with simple engagement events has grown into a nonprofit focused on expanding resource accessibility for both senior-center residents and independent-living seniors. Today, we work to increase independence, provide practical tools, strengthen digital literacy, and mobilize youth leadership to create sustainable community impact.

MISSION

Our mission is to expand access to essential resources by strengthening digital literacy, transportation support, and community awareness so all seniors can live more independently. We are committed to empowering older adults with the tools and confidence they need to stay engaged, self-sufficient, and connected to their community.

The Founders

Together, these students have led CONNECT Care from concept to impact, implementing initiatives that have served dozens of seniors and inspired fellow youth to take action.

Sravya Mandapati

I have always been passionate about creating meaningful change within my community, especially in ways that support older generations like my grandparents. Through CONNECT, I am committed to strengthening intergenerational relationships and ensuring seniors feel valued and supported. I also enjoy spending time with friends and bringing positive energy to every project I am part of.

Slesha Reddy Enukonda

I am actively involved in community service through Girl Scouts and youth leadership programs, which have strengthened my commitment to helping others. I am especially passionate about initiatives that promote belonging and independence for seniors. Outside of CONNECT, I enjoy working with animals, particularly horseback riding, and spending time with my dog, Simba.
